The weekly market is ongoing. Have you stopped by in this heat? A bag of fresh produce is not that far away. When else during the year is it possible to arrive home and spread treasures out in front of family and friends.
Vendor information is just a click away. The benefits you have come to expect are available this summer. Check out our new videos for 2017. And follow the market's postings all summer.
Apples aren't in season yet for 2017, but this is a reminder that apple orchards are all over Northern New Mexico. It's not too early to be thinking of the pies and other special desserts that will have family members and friends asking for second helpings. Some vendors have apples available from last season that have survived the winter through special storage methods and tender loving care.
If you haven't had a chance to stop by the Española Farmers Market yet this season, put it on your Monday calendar. Go early and introduce yourself to the growers and farmers. Sometimes folks drop by too late in the day and their favorite produce is gone. Don't let this happen to you!
We have a Twitter feed and a YouTube channel. The best choice is a personal visit where you'll run into old friends, make new ones, pick up a free book for young people at the market headquarters table, and find out the schedule.
With another season upon us at the Española Farmers Market, it's a treat to look forward to Mondays. If you want the pick of the crop, get there early when the gates open around ten in the morning. The market remains one of the reasons why our customers are loyal, our farmers are hard working, and the customers have their mouths watering and waiting to see what's available.
