After the June 2017 opening, there will be special events all summer. Look forward to chile roastings, the annual heirloom chile celebration, the annual biggest vegetable and poem contest in October, Friday markets starting in July, and much more. Special events will be announced on this blog.
At the market each Monday, you'll see old friends and people you haven't met—all filling their shopping bags with goodies. Fresh steamed and roasted corn? Get ready. The heavenly aroma of roasting chiles? Yes and double yes.
Monday markets are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get there early if you can. The best is yet to come!
