We're celebrating our 20th year at the Española Farmers Market!

Are we having fun?  We're celebrating the 20th year for the market with remembering past years buying and selling fresh produce. And during 2015, save the date for the upcoming chile festival on Labor Day, Friday markets, the big veggie contest, plus our YouTube channel and Twitter feed.

Some of the produce offerings this summer on video. Construction, growing and harvesting are part of the mix at the market this season. And don't forget observing where we've been. We've been doing this by reviewing past market seasons on Twitter and our YouTube channel with videos.

Española Farmers Market has new video for 2014

All this fun was in 2014 at the Española Farmers Market in northern New Mexico. Maybe you're in these photos of highlights of the season. There was much more, but we could only fit so many images into one space. Don't forget the Friday markets, the chile festival over Labor Day, the big vegetable and poetry contest at the end of the season. Follow the market blog online and our new Twitter feed. And now that we have our own YouTube channel, you never know what surprises there might be ahead.

Upcoming events and special market news!

Remember last year's Chile Fest?
The chile festival is happening again on Labor Day in 2015. So, save the date! If you've been by the Espanola Farmers Market, the new ramada is in process in terms of construction. Corn and tomatoes are in. And if you miss Monday markets, stop by on Fridays from 2 to 7 p.m.

Produce is growing in the back garden with a mentoring project in conjunction with Tewa Women United. Ten young men from the community have been active over the summer, a project funded by the First Nation Foundation. Jon Naranjo is the lead coordinator of the program called the "Journey of Becoming a Man." There may be a few spaces left. Contact: jon@tewawomenunited.org

We're continuing to post on Twitter.com/EspanolaFarmers  And we have a YouTube channel.

See you at the market every Monday!
