We've been able to experiment with all sorts of programs and outreach at the Espanola Farmers Market...

We've had a lot of fun over the weeks and years; the friendships begun and cultivated over the years too!

So many people have contributed to the market. We've photographed and heard their words ourselves, whether they're the growers, the customers, the builders, and those who prepare and clean up after the many who have done this or that, or sung a special tune, or eaten a terrific tamale, or whatever.

BLASTS FROM THE PAST come in all forms...

We're approaching the beginning of the 2024 market season.

Let's stop and pat ourselves on the head about our so many apple pies and accomplishments.

Maybe we'll have this produce, and maybe we won't...

There's produce available each year that you may never see anywhere else. This chart only hints of what is available and we wanted to make sure all of our growers and customers were aware of it.

You'll also have to ask at our main market headquarters. It's subtle so ask and don't apologize. We've come a long way over the years!

So many changes have come down since we started selling and buying fresh produce that is harvested locally. We have the old and the new here. Don't forget us from June 10, 2024 to the end of October each year.

The Espanola Farmers Market will open for this year on Monday, June 10, 2024. Let's check in with each other then. The summer Market will end at the usual ending—in October 2024 during the final week.

We're still eating from the bounty at the Market! And we're dreaming of planting the seeds in 2024.

The Espanola Farmers Market was slow in getting started in the spring of 2023. But it wasn't obvious about thelate start when the crops started coming in. We'll be slow getting started in 2024 as we get used to a new regime. And we're still spreading the joy of the photos from the 2023 season.

 

A great 2024 planning and planting season has started, now that we're settled and ready!
